Between the Baltic Sea and Hamburg
The Hanseatic city of Lübeck is located right by the Baltic Sea, only about 1.5 h by car away from the cities Hamburg and Kiel. The TRYP by Wyndham Hotel Lübeck Aquamarin is situated in the district of St. Lorenz, with the main train station 10 minutes away by car or public
transport. The hotel can be easily reached via the A1 motorway exit "Lübeck-Moisling", following the signposts towards the city centre. Lübeck Blankensee Airport LBC is 9 km away, Hamburg Airport HAM 50 km.
Marzipan, literature and brick Gothic
Lübeck offers everything one would expect of a Hanseatic city: harbour boat trips, guided city tours and walks with maritime flair. The city is renowned for its marzipan industry and the "Holstentor" city gate. Lübeck's town hall, the Dominican monastery and Koberg Square - part of a perfectly
preserved district dating back to the 13th century and a designated UNESCO World Heritage site - are just a 15-minute car drive from the hotel, as are the Buddenbrookhaus literature museum and the Günther Grass House, a museum honoring the work of the Literature Nobel Prize winner.
